Julian Goodman Obituary

SALTVILLE – Julian Mason Goodman, age 49, passed away Sunday, Feb. 11, 2007, at the Lowell Health Care Center in Lowell, Mass.
A lifetime resident of Prince George, Va., Julian was an avid fan of Dale Earnhardt, the Redskins and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Goodman Jr., grandparents, William and Ella Mae Goodman and Jon and Louise Gass, and brother, Jack Goodman.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Gass Smelser of Tampa, Fla.; brothers, James, John, Joe and Juan of Prince George; sisters, Janice Burton of Prince George, Judy Sears of Chester, Va., and Jean Gillespie of Chilhowie; uncle, James Shell Goodman and family of Saltville; and several nieces, nephews and family.
Funeral services for Mr. Goodman will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2007, at the Riverside Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at the Henderson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Huntington's Disease Society of America, New England Regional Office, 1253 Worchester Road, Suite 202, Framingham, MA 01701.
The D.R. Henderson Funeral Home in Saltville is serving the Goodman family.

Julian was a former classmate of ours and a good friend of my late brother-in-laws when they worked together at Rose's in Hopewell. We are very sorry to hear of his passing.
