Think of you often.
June 16, 2006
Just want you to know that there are still people remembering and caring about your family. The hurt will always be part of you but I hope that as the months continue to pass, the good memories come up just as much or at least right along with the sad ones and that you are able to embrace them both. Take care and just know that there are many that are still thinking about you all...

I am so sorry for the loss of your daughter, sister and friend. I went to middle school with Julie @ TIS and I always looked up to her as a singer. She was my role model for a very long time. Even though we weren't close, she greatly impacted my life. I appreciate her very much. I'm so sorry for your loss of an amazing girl.

John, Joanie, Jennifer and David,
I just found out about this devastating loss. I remember vividly the various productions at TIS we were all in together. I will always remember the awe I experienced when I first heard Julie sing. We were at TIS for only 4 years -- but felt like it was family. I am so sorry for this pain which you have right now. Please know that our prayers are with you and your family.
With love, Kathleen

To the Curfman family and friends,
Hi. I am a student at Wichita State who shared an English class with Julie. Although I knew her no more than a classmate, I could always sense her bright and beautiful spirit just through the brief conversations we had in class. My condolences go out to the entire famliy and friends.

Dear Curfman family,
Julie was my student in a sociology course I taught last summer at WSU. I want you to know that Julie was a very special student. She asked wonderful questions and made that class one of the most rewarding I have ever taught. I was so shocked and saddened to hear about her passing. Guess I had just taken for granted that she would grow up and do great things. It's so sad and not at all fair that she had to go so soon. Please know that she was a great student and I will miss her.

Dear Julie,
You are such a bright spirit with more compassion than anyone I had ever met! You inspired me to be open and to accept the beauty we each hold within ourselves. I learned so much from you in such a short amount of time, but I just wanted you to know that you, yourself brought my heart and mind to another level. Whenever I would see you, you had this power to force people out of their shell and your smile and laugh I will never forget! Keep smiling for it brought so much peace to my life and many others! I love you girl! My prayers are with you and your family!

Dear Curfman Family
I love you so much and my thoughts and prayers will be with you and Julie. She was always so good to me and left me with some of the best memories I've ever expirenced in my life. She brought me out of my shell and made me laugh every time I was near her, and for that I'll always be grateful. She'll always be my best friend.

To family,
Julie was one of the sweetist girls I have ever met. She welcomed me into school with open arms. I was new and didn't really get along with many people. Julie was so out going and her smile just warmed up a room when she walked into it. I can't imagine the pain your family is going through right now, but my thoughts are with you. Every time I watch Dawsons Creek I'll think about julie and the times we spent together talking about that show, just like it was our own lives :) Please be strong like Julie would have wanted...
Love ~Madison Aronis~
