Julie Parks

PARKSJulie Baer loving wife and mother died peacefully at age 66 on January 27th at Banner Baywood Hospital in Mesa. Julie's husband of 47 years was by her side when she closed her eyes and passed away. Julie was born on April 25, 1944 in Baltimore, MD. She graduated from Samuel Ready School for Girls in 1962 where she was named "Athlete of the Year." She married Robert L. Parks, in Baltimore in 1963. The couple lived in the Baltimore area for several years until Robert, an Electrical Engineer for Westinghouse, was offered a dream job in Northern California. The couple moved and settled in Mountain View, Ca where they raised their four children. Julie went to work in the 1980's to help put her children through private schools. She worked in the electronics field for 13 years. Julie and Robert retired to Queen Creek, AZ in December of 2006. Julie is survived by her husband, Robert Parks 73 of Queen Creek, AZ.; her four children: Robert Parks Jr. 46 of Napa, CA, Sarah Parks 44 of Mountain View, CA, Kristin Parks 41 of Melbourne, FL, and Jennifer Parks 37 of Gilbert, AZ; and her four grand-children: Alexander 16 Evan 13 and Colby 9 Johansson of Mountain View, CA and Ava Parks, 5 of Napa, CA.
