JUSTINE BERDAN Obituary
August 12, 1947 - November 4, 2012
Tina passed away on Sunday, November 4, 2012. She was predeceased by her father, Michael Krochak in 1978. Tina was the loving wife of Dr. Ralph Berdan for 39 years; devoted mother to Michael (Karla) of Lacombe, AB. and Dr. Anthony (Tara) of Vernon, B.C.; grandma to precious grandson Ethan; loving daughter of Stella Krochak; daughter-in-law to Don and Emma Berdan; sister to Julie (Ty), Mary (Ed), Yvonne, Bill and Peter; aunty to two nieces and four nephews. Throughout her life, Tina had a strong Christian faith and love for the Lord. She regarded being a mom as one of the most important jobs in the world and cherished her family. Tina loved people, had a special place in her heart for her Church family, her neighbours, and her students. She was privileged to teach for over 20 years in the Regina Public School system, retiring in 2007. Tina also taught several courses at Curtis-Horne Christian School for several years. Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Thursday, November 8, 2012 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Hill Ave Seventh- day Adventist Church, 3720 Hill Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, November 9, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Ted Deer officiating. Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery where Tina awaits the resurrection call of her Lord and Saviour. In lieu of flowers, donations in memoriam may be made to Curtis-Horne Christian School, 3718 Hill Avenue, Regina, SK, S4S 0X5. Very special thanks to Dr. Al-Hayki, Dr. Caughlin, and Dr. Ian Hill. I enjoyed the years I taught with Tina at Connaught. I remember her to be a patient, caring, and dedicated teacher. But mostly I remember her strong love of her husband and sons and her steadfast faith. May you find comfort in memories of happier times.

Dear Doctor Ralph. It is with a heavy heart that write this to you.I did not know your wonderful Ristine, only through you, when you spoke of her and I saw the love in your face and eyes for her. You and the boys and their familys, will now live with her in many wonderful memoiers and good times you have had over the years of to-getherness. Mme Berdan was a wonderful Kindergarden teacher. She was the perfect teacher to start our children off at school with her obvious love for teaching and her students. We are truly sorry for your loss. She will be greatly missed.
