I spent two wonderful years almost a part of KJ's family when Megan and I were friends from '81 to '83. God bless, KJ.

I was sorry no hear that KJ will no longer be sharing his warm and greeting smile and filling this world with his laughter. He could make a dark day brighter....I meet KJ in SJB and have often thought about him over the years because he always made my day, just by taking the time to make me smile, even on my worse days,,,you will be misseed KJ...may you find peace and joy and keep smiling and laughing because you are loved

I just learned of this sad news today! I didnt know KJ that well but I do remember him always smiling and he would always say hello to me in the halls of SJB. He had the warmest smile that just made you feel so incredible. My prayers are with the Dinnhaupt family.

K.J. was always so bright and bubbly. He always made me laugh. Although we lost touch over the years I always thought of him with a smile. He was a genuinely nice person with a huge heart. You will be missed.

It's has been close to 20 years since I last saw KJ when we attended Fordham. I have some of my best childhood memories with him growing up in Bay Shore. I wish I had a chance to say goodbye & tell him what an awesome person he was. I'll miss him. So full of life. You departed this world much too soon, KJ. I hope you are at peace. Boy, I just can't believe he's gone.

KJ was my dear neighbor upstairs who encouraged me to develop my piano and singing in my little soirees and he'd listen faithfully every time. He then would smile brightly at me in the hallways and never said a word till just this early summer when I again saw him in the hallway and he said "good concert tonight, Amanda!" "That means alot to me, KJ," I replied. "In fact, it means everything - " I found myself saying. Tho I didn't get to know him as much as I would've liked, I always felt good with him up there, like having a guardian angel. Now he really is an actual angel, I'm sure.
