Karen Lambe

LAMBE Karen (Swink) Lambe, age 50, of Plain City, died peacefully Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at the Convalarium at Indian Run surrounded by her loving family. Born August 27, 1956, in Columbus, Ohio. Attended Plain City United Methodist Church and Cypress Wesleyan Church of Galloway. Employed by Scotts-Miracle Gro of Marysville. Member Elizabeth Chapter #56 Order of Eastern Star. Karen participated as a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister Program in Marysville and served on Plain City Council from 1996-98. Karen was a devoted mother and is survived by her loving daughters, Kathryn E. "Katie" Lambe and Ashley Victoria "Tori" Lambe, both of Plain City; parents, Charles V. and Margaret E. (Reams) Swink of Henderson, NV; brother, William L. (Virginia) Swink of Fullerton, CA; nieces, Kimberly Aardema, Kristen Jacobson; aunts and uncle, Rebecca A. (Don) Hilbert, JoAnn J. Yanscik; numerous relatives and friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, at FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 202 E. Main Street (St Rt 161 W), Plain City, where Eastern Star Service will be conducted at 8 p.m. Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial in Oak Dale Cemetery, Marysville.
