p>Karen L. Pierce on Dec. 10, 2007 of Cherry Hill, N.J. Age 53. Beloved wife of Vincent Edward Pierce Jr. Loving mother of Cassie, Rebecca and Laura all of Cherry Hill, NJ. Beloved daughter of Peter and Catherine Lapiska of Woodlynne, NJ. Dear sister of Peter Michael Lapiska of Yardley, PA; Nicholas T. Lapiska of Medford Lakes, NJ and many nieces and nephews.

Karen was currently teaching at the Fleetwood Elementary School in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Visitation Thursday evening 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday morning 9 to 9:45 a.m. in St. Peter Celestine RC Church, 402 N. Kings Highway, Cherry Hill, NJ. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10 a.m.

Interment New St. Mary¹s Cemetery Bellmawr, NJ. In lieu of flowers contributions in her memory may be made to the Pierce Family Educational Fund, C/O Terry Malik, 152 Cherry Tree Lane, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002.

Arrangements: SCHETTER FUNERAL HOME, Cherry Hill, NJ.

Dear Vince, Cassie, Rebecca and Laura, We were all so saddened to hear of Karen's passing. I know that you are a very strong and loving family and I hope it helps all of you to know that others are thinking of you and sending you prayers. God bless you all and God bless her spirit.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your children during this very sad time. My memory of Karen is of our first year at the swim club and how warmly and kindly she welcomed us. Hold on to your memories and remember she is always with you.
