God sent Karla and my oldest son Matthew to Karen and I, 19 minutes apart, on September 20 1974, on my 24th birthday. I always felt it was such a privilege to have my little cousin Karen's baby share that day with Matthew and I in our celebration of life, and be so close to my heart. That sweet smile will never fade. I know your hearts are breaking. May God's tender loving care surround you Karen and your family as you grieve the loss of this precious daughter.
