Kathleen Merkl Obituary
Of West Seneca, NY, September 22, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Robert E. Merkl; dearest mother of Deborah Merkl, Robert (Patricia) and Richard (Gayle) Merkl; also survived by 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Family present Tuesday 5-8 PM at the HOY FUNERAL HOME, 3855 Seneca St., West Seneca where prayers will be said Wednesday morning at 8:30 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial from Queen of Heaven Church at 9:00. Friends invited. Flowers gratefully declined. Memorials to the American Breast Cancer Society or Shriners Children's Hospital appreciated.

I was so sorry to hear of Kathy's passing. I played bridge with her and got to know her as one of the finest ladies I have ever met. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. She was a gentle and classy lady.
