You and I hit it off the second we met, and we just always got along. Such love from one person, such joy and positivite attitude, I've never known. I'm a singer and have sung with the best, but Keith, yours... Your voice was, as you were, a gift from Heaven. How I'll miss you!

Keith, you brought so much joy and love to your work at UH and I will be forever grateful for your support when we were graduate students together. Your smile and sense of humour will always be with me - I am blessed for having you in my world.

I remember Keith as one of the funniest brothers we had at Sigma Chi Fraternity at Troy University. He was also one of the most talented and genteel persons I ever had the pleasure of knowing. Ever the consumate gemtleman Keith had that little dab of mischief which always made him a pleasure to be around. My condolences to his mother Julia, sister Robin, and to Arthur. All honor to his name.

You will be greatly missed. I remember when you came to Troy and played in the band with us and how sweet you were. Love is eternal......Nina Wiley, Marianna, Fl.

Having only met Keith a few times with Evelyn Walston, he was such a great singer and always such a friendly and nice person. His spirit will live on within us. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends he leaves behind. God bless each of you, Shelley White

A supernova of talent, locked in human form. We'll listen for your songs in the morning's early light...
Thanks for being, Keith. And thanks for being "Keith".

The Angels in Heaven have a new member in their choir. Sing your heart out Keith. You were a gifted songwriter and singer.

Dearest family of Keith,
I'm so saddened to hear of his passing. Keith has always been such a wonderful person. I was so pleased to have known him at Troy and was thrilled I saw him in New York on stage. I know the Heavenly Choir will sound a lot sweeter with that beautiful voice added to it.
All my deepest sympathy,

Keith and I attended Troy State together and shared the stage in many theatrical productions. He was such a talented actor and a gifted singer, even at that young age. We reconnected via Facebook several years ago and, thank God, visited several times before his illness. His music was so filled with the Glory of God. Today, I went to his Facebook Wall to wish him a happy Thanksgiving and learned he had passed. But now I know he WILL have a happy Thanksgiving...in heaven. Can you imagine how much better the heavenly choir will sound with Keith's voice? My prayers to his family who I know will miss him dearly, as will I. I love you, Keifie.

Keith, you will always be the most upbeat, full of life and hope personable , talented person I've ever met. Your departure is a huge loss for us all who have come to know you, a huge gain for God. You have blessed us with your very being and ever-engulfing smile! You have enshrined my view on life like no other. A soft smile spreads my face everytime I'd think of you all these years and until the end!
Love Ya Always,
Roland

Keith, I can still hear your laughter. It is easy to visualize your bright smile and sparkling blue eyes and feel the fun that always surrounded you. Thanks for sharing some of life's moments with me. I will always remember our adventures fondly. Carry on, my friend. Your blessings and laughter are needed elsewhere. Til we meet again...

I can still remember the music of that trumpet as Keith played in the Salem choir back in Alabama. I should have known then that we would hear a great deal more from Keith. Joyce Ingram Rice

My prayers and sympathy go out to Keith's family, to Arthur who's strong faith, I know, will see him through, to his many friends who loved him, especially to Evelyn and Clay. Rest In Peace Keith, you are now home safe and happy in the loving arms of God. Your memory and beautiful music will
live on.

The world is a darker place without your light, Keith, but we are all better people for having known you. Thanks for living a life that no doubt made Christ smile. Until we meet again....Love you dear friend.

Keith was a good friend of mine at Troy. His delightful personality and willingness to help others really stood out as special. We were just recently re-united, when I found out he was ill. He was a shining light to all who knew him. I am assured that the next face he will see is our Lord's. Shari Roesel Bley

Perhaps without ever having known it, and certainly with no expectation of anything in return, my brother Keith Caldwell has inspired me in ways trivial and tremendous for 35 years. I will continue to carry his legacy with me until we meet again. "...and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God, who gave it."

Your animated antics will be truly missed by all who knew YOU. We all loved you and will truly miss that beautiful smile and those crystal blue eyes. And feel priveledged to have heard those pipes of gold...We will see you when Jesus comes so save us a place in Heaven and keep those chords in good use singing with the Angels. We will always remember you...

Heaven is Brighter and the Heavenly Choir Sounds better, but this worldly world is so much darker and the voices so lackluster now that Keith has been taken from us. Our ways are not God's ways, but it just seemed like Keith had so much to offer. There were songs he and Clay had just began to put together, there were songs in his head that hadn't made it to paper yet. And his bright cheery infectious disposition will be so truly missed.
Despite my human questioning, I thank God for sharing Keith with so many of us. May God bless strengthen and comfort Julia, Robin, Aunt Drinkard, Arthur, Clay and all those so close to him throughout this terrible time.
