I grew up across the street from Keith on Freeland in Detroit. So many of my childhood memories include him. Mr Euler took us roller skating one Saturday and put the top down on their convertible. I thought that was so cool! Mrs Euler invited all the neighborhood kids over for lunch once and served a "grown up" menu and used cloth napkins. That was also pretty different and Keith was the perfect host. A third memory was the huge ice skating rink he had in the backyard where he and his buddies would always play hockey. Sometimes they would allow us girls in too and we lots of fun. That reminds me of the basketball hoop where Keith would always beat me at free throw challenges. My list could go on and on, but I'll end with saying I'm thankful that I was able to share my youth with Keith.

I grew up across Freeland St. from the Euler family, and I was just 2 months older than Keith. He and I would spend hours in his backyard, chinning ourselves on his mother's t-shaped clothesline support and talking about ideas and religion (both of us devout, but me Catholic). We were both in the top three of our respective graduating classes and enjoyed our conversations. We competed on chinning by counting the rotations of the electric meter directly behind the clothesline until we realized that it varied on what his Mom and siblings were doing in the house. I was thinking quarantine was a good time to call my old pal and found his obituary instead. Rest in peace, old friend. You lived a good life, as have I. Mary Alice Pare' Power

I'm so sorry to hear of Keith's passing. My sister (Lynn) & I grew up with the Euler family at Detroit First Church of the Nazarene. We had so many great times with the teen group, and I remember Keith always made us laugh! My deepest sympathies to all the family.

So sorry to hear about this passing. Keith and I grew up together at Detroit first. Both same age. We're good friends until life separated us and we went to different colleges. I have many fond memories
