Kenisha Woods Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Mar. 17, 2011.
Kenisha Ollivet Woods "Boo", age 33 of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Born June 9, 1977 in Pasco, WA, passed away March 17, 2011. Kenisha "Boo" loved music, reading, and writing poetry. Boo graduated from Pasco High School in 1996, continuing school at Claire's Beauty College in Pasco, becoming licensed in Washington and Oregon state. With these skills, and being the adventurous person she was, led her to Spokane, WA where she worked and enjoyed life with her 4 nieces and family. After a fun vacation to New Orleans, one year, Boo decided to make a change…packed her bags and off she went to the land of Louisiana. While in Baton Rouge, she was store manager of Wilson Leather and Casual Male, which allowed her travelling through their southern U.S. stores, buying and hiring for the company, enjoying every minute, as she would with all of her life. Her smile, her laugh and quick wit will be greatly missed by all. Coming from a very large family, one of Kenisha's desires was to become a mother. This desire was fulfilled March 7, 2011 with the birth of her only child, Kaydon Krystian Woods. Although their time together was much too short, it was most rewarding, precious and fulfilling for mommy and daughter. Kenisha leaves also to mourn her daughter Kaydon K. Woods; mother Myrna Stafford and her fathers Kenneth R.Woods and Harold J. Stafford, Jr.; one sister, Kynna Woods; two brothers, Clyde Woods (Melissa) and Winston Stafford; grandfather Earnace Beasley, Sr. ; five nieces, Audrianna, Ashley, Alexandria, Alissa and Natalya; three very special friends, Atysha Rhodes, Nathan, Cira and Leighton Overson; four uncles and six aunts and their families, and a host of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by both grandmothers, Ollivet "Grams" Woods and Annie Beasley; one aunt, Debra Woods; four uncles, Anthony Woods, Clarence and Curtis Beasley, and Joe Peters. A celebration of Kenisha's life will be held Monday, March 28, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Mueller's Greenlee Funeral Home in Pasco, with interment to follow at City View Cemetery.
