Kenneth Bradley Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jul. 1, 2013.
As Kenneth "Omar" Bradley stood before God at the end of his life, we are sure he raised his arms and said "I used everything you gave me!" and began his journey up the Stairway to Heaven. Our beautiful angel embraced this life on Earth on January 20, 1991 with two very proud parents, Darrell Kenneth Bradley and Irma Jean Hudson. On July 1, 2013, at the young age of 22 years old, he embraced his eternal life in Heaven. Only a moment he stayed, but his footprints left an imprint forever on our hearts. "Omar" as he was affectionately known by family and friends, grew up in Richmond and received his education in the West Contra Costa School District. He graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 2009. He was also attending Berkeley City College and had just begun taking classes at University Bartending School where his cousin is the owner and was looking forward to helping her build her business. Omar was such a happy and kind person. He always wore a smile and had an infectious laugh that would make you laugh just hearing it. He loved clothes and had his own personal style. He didn't follow trends, he was a trendsetter and "dressed to express." Kenneth never allowed the adversity he faced to stand in the way of his success. He used it as motivation instead which made him the dependable, dedicated, hard worker that he was. Ken was the kind of guy who always kept a job or two. His past and present employers included Anchor Blue, Home Depot, P.F. Changs and Wingstop. Omar was destined for greatness; he claimed it and exuded it. Missing someone gets easier everyday because though its one day further from the last time you saw each other, it's one day closer to the next time you will see them again. Omar's day came for him to see his parents again who preceded him in death. He yearned for them and now they are all together happily in Heaven. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernice and Elizabeth Bradley and Walter and Louise Hudson; Aunts, Audrey Faye Taylor and Brenda Lee; and Uncles, Wilbur and Terry Bradley. Omar will live forever in our hearts and leaves to cherish his memory, two sisters, Terry and Nakita Clark of Richmond, CA; One nephew, Armon Mason; Six aunts, Paula Shields and Christine Hudson of Richmond, CA, Thelma Engram of Rialto, CA, Deborah Williams of Covina, CA, Glenda Colter of East Orange, NJ and Sharon Bradley of Sacramento, CA; three uncles Clifford Hudson of Sacramento, CA and Wayman and Melvin Bradley of Richmond, CA and a very special friend Lynell Clutts as well a host of relatives, family and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. If love could have saved him, he would have lived forever!!
