Kenneth Bragg Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 12, 2022.
Kenneth Buren "Kenny" Bragg, age 71, of New Windsor, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, November, 9, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Born November 14, 1950 in New, West Virginia, he was the son of the late Reda and Buren Bragg. He was the husband of Bettina (Tena) Bates Bragg. Before retiring, he worked for Coca-Cola and then the Brethren Service Center, doing what he loved, driving a tractor trailer. Kenny had a great love of fishing, hunting, model trains and was an avid football fan, especially for the Dallas Cowboys. He enjoyed playing Santa at Christmas for family parties, and gathering with friends and family. He leaves a real void in the lives of all who knew him. Kenny was a faithful follower of Christ and leaves behind many Christian friends from various church families. In addition to his wife those left to cherish his memory are son Patrick Kenneth Bragg and wife Angie; grandchildren Tyler, Kayla, Gabrielle, Madison, Dakota, Monet and Cooper; great-grandchildren Willow and Lyla; brother Jerry Bragg (Sharon) of North Carolina; sisters Vonnie Coskey of Shady Spring, WV, Barbara Throckmorton of Williamsburg, VA, Dianna Brookman (Larry) of Eldersburg, MD; an aunt Vella Harper of Beaver, WV, and sister-in-law Diana Jones (C. David) of Hampstead. Also surviving are many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful friends. He was predeceased by two sisters Helena Davis and Dora Burgett. The family will receive friends from 2p.m.-6p.m. on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Hartzler Funeral Home-Libertytown, 11802 Liberty Rd., Frederick, 21701. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Leave a message or memory on his "tribute wall" at www.hartzlerfuneralhome.com.

I am so sorry to hear of Ken's passing. He was a wonderful, kind-hearted man that positively impacted everyone's life he came in contact with. A generous spirit, fun with a bit of mischief. He will truly be missed

Ken was our truck driver and warehouse man at the Brethren Service Center. He cared about his work and his coworkers. He was forever moving about and had great stories. Ken loved his family and part of his heart and being was always in West Virginia where he grew up. You are sadly missed but happy you are no longer restrained by your body and are enjoying all the other angels in heaven. My prayers include you and your family. God Bless You.
