Kenneth Sills
December 1, 1964 - June 6, 2021
Springtown, Texas - Kenneth Edward Sills was born on December 1, 1964 in San Luis Obispo, CA and left this world on June 6, 2021 in Springtown, Texas. His parents, Ken and Mary Anne welcomed him joyously into their lives.
He was joined by brothers, Jeff and Cory and to them was a good big brother, loving and teaching them big brother stuff, mischief, good times, lots of fun. They were joined by another brother, Kevin, born to Ken and second wife Cheryl, and happily welcomed two sisters, Lisa and Kristi. Ken and Cheri later welcomed another brother, Lee.
Kenney attended Grover Elementary, Judkins Middle School, and graduated from Arroyo Grande High School. He loved books and read all kinds of history (loved Paleontology) nature, and animals. Kenney was a prolific writer. He was a drummer and a surfer, a student and a truant, so many things but his biggest interest throughout his entire life was people and he had many, many friends. He spoke to everyone, helped anyone in need, and would give all he had to whoever needed help.
During his lifetime he worked at many things, mostly Construction, Masonry, brickwork, and pools. He lived in many places, Northern and Southern California, Mexico, Hawaii, and Texas. He loved the ocean and spent many hours at the beach throughout his life. He also loved water skiing and many family vacations were spent on Lake Shasta. His most recent home was in Texas, where he was very happy. He was closer in proximity to his Mom, Mary Anne, and after many months of separation due to Covid, they were planning to be together, planning another road trip.
Kenney was preceded in death by his brother Jeff and cousin Laura. He is survived by his parents, David and Mary Anne Harrington and Ken and Cheri Sills, siblings Cory (Cheryl), Kristi (Robby), Lisa, Kevin (Raelee), Lee (Jamie), his daughters, Julia, Jessica, Kalie, and Frances, his grandchildren, Jayden, Jasper, and Symona and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss him dearly, including a very special mentor and friend, Rick Rolan-Campbell. He loved his family and always tried to look out for his siblings.
His parents are bringing him home to rest and a celebration of his life will be held, welcoming all who loved him. It will be held on July 10, 2021 at 1:00 in the afternoon, at the Toucan Terrace Clubhouse, 955 Terry Drive, Pismo Beach, CA.

I am so sad to hear about Kenney´s passing. He was very young to leave this world, he did touch many lives in a short period of time. We were together for about 7 years and he was a good friend throughout our relationship. we had a great friendship. We were going in different directions and decided to part ways. He was always ready and willing to help everyone and was a good friend to many with a huge heart. He had a great sense of humor and I swore that was the glue that kept us together, always making you laugh.
I thought of him often throughout the years and was happy that he ended up in Hawaii for a while and that he became a massage therapist and not doing masonry anymore. He really worked hard at that and I know it hurt his body after a while. I figured he was happy in a tropical setting, he loved the beach. He was such a hard worker and powerful man. He always made friends where ever he went establishing close connections with many that went deep. He had a talent when it came to being around people and that was his wheel house. My heart breaks for his entire family, Mom, Dad, brothers , kids and I guess grand children now. I want you to know he was special to so many people. I am sorry for loss. He will be in your memories and hearts forever. God bless him!

I am so sorry to hear about Kenneth.
I have known Kenneth since junior high. We had a lot of fun times. He was always helping others and would always have your back. If you needed help in any way, Kenneth was on it. Whether you needed help with a project, money, or a place to lay your head. He was also a great protector. Heaven forbid if ANYONE picked on you. The 1st person you would run to is Kenneth and the last person they would want to see was Kenneth.
You are truly loved and missed.
Until we meet again

I´m so very sorry for your loss. My love and prayers go out to this beautiful mans family and loved ones. He was lifelong friend. We grew up together and I will miss him dearly for the rest of my days here on earth. I will never forget the life lessons he taught me or the many years of trusted advice he always gave to me. Kenny was a shining light to so many. His upbeat attitude and positivity was obvious whenever I spoke to him. He was a cherished lifelong friend of my sister, Kerry who is feeling his loss greatly, and is in such sympathy for you. His kindness will be remembered. My heart is with you as you grieve.
