Mr. Kenneth Wayne Waddell, 81 entered into rest on Thursday, July 13, 2023. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 17th, at Brown-Pennington-Atkins Funeral Home with burial in the Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Hartsville. Mr. Waddell was a son of the late Ralph Burdette Waddell and the late Ruth Wyatt Waddell. He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and was a former member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Greenville, where he served in many capacities. He was involved in Boyscouts Troop 11 of First Presbyterian Church in Greenville. He was retired as a paper salesman. He was a former member of the JAYCEES, PICA, and the Craftsman Club. He loved living in the mountains. He also enjoyed golfing and listening to classical music, but his greatest love was spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Betty Teal Waddell; sons, Richard Waddell (Allison), Chris Waddell; sister, Lynda Coleman (Frank); brother, Reggie Waddell (Faye); grandchildren, Teal, Wyatt, and Mandy Waddell. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Raymond and Lloyd.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Children's Hospital.
