KENNETH WAGER Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Jun. 22, 2020.
WAGER, KENNETH ROSS September 3, 1933 – June 7, 2020 It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Kenneth Ross. He will be forever missed by his beloved wife of 60 years, Allison, as well as his family and many friends. He was a member of the Friendship Lodge #729 G.L.C. Those who knew him well will miss his sense of humour, kindness and generosity. We hope that everyone will spend time recalling fond and humourous memories of him. Due to the current situation, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Ross was not only my Friend but my Mentor as well. His smile and his humour was infectious. I will truly miss him, but I know he is in a better place. I still remember a time when at a Masonic meeting and some one asked another Brother to add up a set of numbers. The brother used his calculator to do it, but Ross gave the answer before the other Brother could and Ross did it by doing the addition in his head. See on Heaven's golf course Ross.

My family and I are very saddened to hear about the passing of Ross. I have had the pleasure of knowing Ross for many years as we both served on our Condo Board of Directors. This past year, we were lucky to have had Ross serve as our Board President. I will miss his smile, his gentle humour and his camaraderie. Sending love to his beloved Allison and all his friends and family. May Ross rest in peace.

It is truly with great sadness that members of Friendship Lodge #729 will indeed miss W. Bro. Ross Wagers Humor and Kindness. He was a great Mentor to many of us, and I really did enjoy seeing his great big smile coming into Lodge. We were fortunate to have the opportunity to reach out to him as group in April at our 1st ever virtual meeting. While online we reached out to Brother Ross via telephone and caught up as he shared some humor and made us all laugh. He taught us that when life hands you difficulties, you take them day by day and little by little you make them better. Now that Brother Ross has passed to the Grand Lodge above, Im sure he is making his old friends and acquaintances there laugh and smile. Thank you Worshipful Brother Ross, for all that you have given us over the years, we will miss your knowledge, guidance, support, and your big beautiful smile. We will take comfort in knowing that well meet again in the not to distant future and until then Rest in Peace my Brother!
To Allison and Family, please accept our dearest condolences on your great loss. We all Thank you so much for sharing Ross with us over the years. He has given so much to so many, which would not have been possible without your support. Take pride in knowing that he has made many of us better men. Remember that Friendship Lodge will always be there to support you. Should you need anything at any time, please reach out and call us.
