Kenneth WEBB Obituary

Published by Edmonton Journal from Mar. 20 to Mar. 21, 2017.
WEBB, Kenneth Lawrence
April 14, 1929 – March 16, 2017
Ken Webb passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on March 16, 2017.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 52 years, Lorraine (nee Staples); brother Ronald Webb (Margaret); and sister Francis Atchison (Ernie). He leaves behind brother, Sid Webb (Murie); sister Georgina Schultz (Artie); and many extended family and friends.
Ken worked for Danco Equipment for many years. After retirement, he and Lorraine found the travel bug and made many trips in their motorhome, always with their westie in tow. Ken loved his dogs and his harmonicas; he was great fun and a "favourite" uncle to his nieces and nephews. We will remember him as a story teller with a twinkle in his eye.
The family would like to recognize the compassionate care that Ken received during the last part of his life, with special thanks to staff at the Devonshire Care Centre and to companions Karen, Gerry, and Charlotte.
A Memorial Service for Ken will be held on Thursday, March 23 at 11:00 a.m. at Connelly-McKinley Funeral Home, 10011-114 Street NW, Edmonton.
