The last time I saw Kerri was at our cousins wedding in 1996. She was having a great time dancing I believe it was the bird dance...she brought so much joy I know her presence will be missed by family and her friends .

I will always remember Kerri's wonderful laugh and the fun we all had at Special Olympics, Camp Echo Bridge, swimming at Crystal Lake and "sleep away camp" in New Hampshire.

My heart is broken for all of you with sweet Kerri's passing. She will forever hold a special place in my heart and I'm so thankful for many precious memories I have of time spent with her - my wedding, her trips to Newfoundland, our trips to Boston and Cape Breton. So many. She loved unconditionally and brought light every where she went. I wish I could be with you as you say your final farewell but I hope you know I am with you in heart. I love you all. Dear Maisie, Katy and family,
My deepest condolences on your loss. Kerri was such an inspiration to me from the time I met her in elementary school - always there with a big hug and a smile. A highlight of my school years was volunteering at Special Olympics on Saturdays with Katy and Kerri - something I continue to do today with Newton Athletes Unlimited. While she will be deeply missed by her family and friends, it is comforting to know Kerri is now dancing in Heaven. May your family be surrounded by the wonderful memories of Kerri's beautiful life.

I was a friend of Angus MacKinnon ( Toronto, Canada) met you, Leonard and Family at a gathering at your home in Newton, some time ago and also you and Kerri / Katy came to my house in Brookline to take Angus to Newton....
My parents were from Whycocomagh, NS and my Uncle Duncan MacKinnon was Angus' 1st cousin....Big Belll...New Waterford?

We knew Kerri and Maisie from Espousal days and miss those days as much as we miss seeing them every week. Kerri was such a delight and we want to be counted among her many fans.
