Kevin Michael Barry, 88, died Sunday, January 13, 2019 at 11:30 a.m. at home in Corpus Christi, TX. He was born to John Barry & Marjorie Hill Barry on 11/22/1930 in Brooklyn, NY.

Kevin was raised in Ireland (Rathmullen) and England (Liverpool and Hull). He then studied at New York University & Columbia University in NYC earning a BA and an MBA in Finance, Public and International Administration and Affairs. After 6 years serving in the Army, Kevin worked for the Federal government as a ship inspector on the Panama Canal for 28 years, retiring to Corpus Christi in 1992. A very shy, loyal and quiet man, Kevin was an avid reader of history, photographer and student of languages: Latin, Spanish, French, Italian & German. He loved long walks, swimming, soccer, weight lifting and dinners with his sister, brother-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his beloved sister Naomi June Barry Archer and brother-in-law Leslie S. Archer.

Survivors include nieces Anne Ruth Archer, Bronx, NY, and Nuala Miriam Archer, Cleveland, OH; nephews Philip Luke Archer, Corpus Christi, TX and Stephen Barry Archer, Bend, OR; and cousin Carmel Melia Grieve & family of Toronto, Canada.
