Kevin Paul Feldman, 65, beloved husband, father, son, uncle and friend passed away Monday, April 17, 2023.
Memorial Service: 11 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church, 117 Ranch House Road, Willow Park.
Kevin was born June 30, 1957 in Sault Saint Marie, Michigan, son of Irwin and Betty (Baril) Feldman. He married Linda Marshall and they spent over 20 happy years together.
Kevin had many talents. He worked as VP of Construction-Rehab Projects for Equity Residential. He served with them for over 15 years in various capacities for Maintenance and Construction. Kevin was also a Real Estate Agent/Investor. He was an all-around Handyman, “If it is broken, it can be fixed!” was his motto, and thus Mo Betta Engineering was born, providing services for primary friends, family and church needs as requested. Kevin was a genius-level thinker, and Excel Wizard, and excellent in all computer skills. He was a mentor, encouraging others to think effectively, and training teams of associates in skills such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, pool maintenance, etc.
Kevin enjoyed fishing, camping, boating, and doing maintenance projects for others. He often did maintenance projects around the church, many times without request from the priest. He just saw a job that needed to be done and did it. It could be anything from gardening to renovation projects with the Community Building. He gave his skills and talents freely in service to the Lord.
Kevin loved the holiday season! He baked Holiday Strawberry Bread for on-site management teams, smoked Holiday Hams for family and friends, and pulled Christmas trees out of swimming pools to settle a family dispute between mother and daughter! (A story for another day.)
Kevin was a great listener! He allowed others to share their stories openly, freely, without judgment. He provided advice when requested and gentle guidance when he saw it was needed to help one move forward.
Kevin was a good guy with a big bear façade and a gentle heart. He will be missed by many.
He was preceded in death by step-daughter, Ashley Lorraine Hobbs.
Survivors include his wife, Linda Feldman; parents, Irwin and Betty Feldman, of Tucson, Arizona; sisters, Kristy Butler (Bob), of Richmond, Virginia, and Kimberley Smith (Chris), of Arlington; sons, Jason Feldman of Forney, and Adam Feldman; daughter, Brianne Feldman; step-son, Andrew Marshall of Grapevine; seven grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and many extended family members, co-workers, church family, and friends.
