LEGER, Kevin James 1964 - 2010 It is with great sadness and grieving hearts that we announce the sudden and tragic passing of Kevin on Tuesday February 23, 2010. He is predeceased by his father Ronald, and survived by his mother Marilyn, sister Andrea, brother Sheldon (Sonia), nephew Adrien and niece Karina. Kevin will be remembered for his love for rugby, as well, his incredible sense of wit, leaving everyone with an unforgettable and forever lasting impression. He has touched the hearts of countless people and will be forever remembered, not only by his loving family, but his indescribable network of friends, BC Hydro coworkers alike, as well as those he encountered in his travels around the world. Kevin, we miss you dearly! The family has requested a private service. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of your choice.

I worked with Kevin at BCHydro for several years. He was always smiling, had a kind word for everyone and was a very gentle man. My deepest sympathies go out to you all. Kevin, you will be sadly missed. For the short time you were here you touched many, many hearts fondly.

I will forever miss Kevin and consider myself lucky to have known him through some of his dearest friends. I only regret that I didn't see more of him in the past several years. His sudden, tragic death is a reminder of how too-short life can be. My greatest wish is that Kevin knew and will be eternally proud of his many accomplishments, the greatest of which I believe was amassing such a huge circle of friends, all of whom loved and respected him so very much. My heart goes out to all of you and to his family.

I have known Kevin for nearly 20 years.

I looked forward to seeing Kevin at work and am saddened that he has been taken from us and will no longer be there when we walk into work.

I will miss his wit , profound advise and unique sense of humour.

I am so sad to hear about Kevin. The shock of losing someone suddenly at an unnatural time is so devastating. Kevin was an observer of people and life. I will always remember is passionate approach to sports and his easy company. I played ball with Kevin for years, enjoyed apres-game festivities, and always enjoyed bumping into Kev in Kits. I hope his family will find some comfort in knowing how much Kevin will be missed by so many. My thoughts are with his numerous friends, old and new.

Kevin was a very good friend of mine. We had worked together for a long time at BC Hydro. We shared many laughs socializing with friends and co-workers, had fun going to the Canucks games, and always had great chats about our lives in general. He was such a kind, gentle person, with a great sense of humour. He always made me laugh. I admired him, and his zest for enjoying life. I will miss him a lot. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family at this very, very sad time. We are all going to miss him.

Kevin,
I miss you so much.
Thank you for bringing me so much joy, laughter, happiness and memories (even though I wish we had had more time to make more of those together).
You will always be in my heart and on my travels, I will bring a piece of you with me wherever I go.
Love you,
Maria

Kev,
You were one of a kind, and the world has been robbed of your kindness, generosity, and incredible wit. You will be forever missed by Michelle and I. Rest in peace buddy, until you find somebody to play sports trivia with.
