Greece: Unexpectedly September 1, 2017. Survived by his loving wife, Stephanie; children, Presley, Maddon, Charley and Graydon; parents, Joseph and Sandra McKain; sister, Kimberly (David) Good and brother, Joseph (Carrie) McKain; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Kathy Hill; sisters-in-law, Lisa (Chad) Newbauer and Stacey (Chad) Pike; nieces and nephews.
Friends may attend a Funeral Service, 11:00 Thursday at Greece Assembly of God Church. Interment, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Kevin's GoFundMe account.

He was a good man he represented me twice and I was successful both times. I didn't know about this horrible news until I received a letter in the mail last week. I'm a sad individual today great guy RIP my friend/lawyer.

He was my childhood best friend. We did everything together and shared many great memories but the one I will always hold close to my heart was a day at the golf course. We seldom rigged the carts to go faster than normal and on this day just after it rained Kevin who often liked to carry his tee in his mouth decided to head down a hill at full speed and slam on the breaks to slide sideways. When we got to the bottom I was celebrating victory as I turned to see he was choking on the tee. I acted fast and with a few minutes of fear the tee came out and he said "thanks man don't ever let me go promise" I replied "promise". Years later his father took us to Florida and we decided to golf. As alligators roamed the course I decided I wanted a photo with one. Kevin thought I was crazy and said "don't ever let me go bro" I replied with" I believe you owe me one". Smiled and had him capture a photo of me on a hill about 50 yards away. After we got the photo back it looked as if I was a mile away. Well my friend I will never let you go and even when your gone you will always be in my heart ❤ love you brother till we meet again.

I am so very sorry to hear of this, we often referred cases to Kevin and he was a stellar advocate and champion for those who needed a voice in our legal system. My prayers and sympathies to his wife and children, you should be very proud of him , he was an honor to his profession.

Playing Peter Pan on the swing set behind his house, climbing the maple tree in the front of my house, and playing kickball, football and every other kind of ball with all the kids on Allen Road - are just a few of the great memories I have of Kevin. I couldn't have asked for a better friend to grow up with. I will love him and miss him always.

I remember all the holidays ( Easter, Christmas, Father and Mothers day) together when we were kids at our grandparents house on Hinkleyville Road. The clambakes, Easter egg hunts.
