Kiarra E. Anavitate, 17, of Wyomissing, passed away
September 9, 2013.
Born in West Reading, she was a daughter of Thomas Anavitate and Michelle Perez.
She was an 11th grade student at Wilson High School, where her favorite class was drama.
Kiarra was a member of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church. She loved being with her friends, shopping and spending time with her family; she was great to her little cousins.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by four siblings, Jonathan Alvarez, Thalia Alvarez, Demilee Alvarez and Nevaeh Martinez; her paternal grandparents, Carmen, wife of Larry Fields, with whom Kiarra resided; her maternal grandfather, Louis Anavitate; her great-grandmother, Ida Betan-court; her paternal uncles, Louis Anavitate; Paul, husband of Jennifer Anavitate; Steve, husband of Audrey Anavitate; and maternal aunts and uncles, Annette Perez, Jesus Perez and Angel Santos; and many cousins.
Kiarra was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Virginia Perez.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 10 a.m. in St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church, 322 S 5th St. Reading, PA 19602. Burial will be in Charles Evans Cemetery. Friends may call Sunday from 5 to 8 p.m. in Edward J. Kuhn Funeral Home, Inc., West Reading.

Kiarra will always be remembered. Such a beautiful girl. I´ll never forget she sat next to me, and she introduced herself to me at a football game and said you know my family.
Such a sweet girl, I will never forget that day.

I still cannot believe you are no longer on this earth...we just communicated not too long ago and I have always known you to be so strong. I have had you in my prayers I knew some things that troubled your heart, but you loved life any way, you shared hope and joy with others no matter what and you were growing into such an incredible and amazing young woman. Your father Tito, uncle Paul, uncle Richie and uncle Steve are all brothers to me and your Grandma Carmen is like a mother to me.
