Kimberly Ashby Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 23, 2013.
Kimberly Michelle Ashby, 50, of Owensboro, KY began her walk with us in White Plains, Kentucky on October 7, 1963 and arrived home on October 23, 2013. Kimm "Tia" enjoyed gardening, antiques, cooking, music and caring for her beloved cats and dogs. The sweet smile, quick wit and incredible laughter of this beautiful lady will live in the hearts of those blessed to have shared her walk. She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Ashby; maternal grandparents, Woodrow and Corene Crick and paternal grandparents, James and Pansy Ashby. Along the way she loved and was loved by her life-partner of nearly 21 years, Kimberly Mischelle McDaniel; her mother and stepfather, Faye and Nick Dennison; her brother, Jeremy Johnston; mother-in-law, Helen McDaniel; sister-in-law, Pam McDaniel; niece, Elizabeth Johnston; nephew, Dillon McDaniel and many dear friends. A private memorial service and life celebration will be held at a later date. James H. Davis Funeral Home & Crematory in Owensboro is in charge of arrangements. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the Humane Society and/or random acts of kindness.
