Kimberly Ailene "Kim" Goodman

Kimberly Ailene Goodman (née Peters), affectionately known as Kim, passed away on July 14, 2024, in Sevierville, Tennessee, at the age of 53. Born in Man, West Virginia, Kim was a cherished figure in her community and among her loved ones.

Kim pursued a career as a cosmetologist, bringing joy and beauty into the lives of her clients. She was a graduate of Man Senior High School, where she formed many lifelong friendships and connections.

A devout member of the Baptist faith, Kim was actively involved in her church community, embodying the spirit of service and compassion. Her faith was an integral part of her life, guiding her actions and interactions with others.

Kim had a zest for life that was contagious. She relished in the simple pleasures, such as riding the Harley with her husband, Franklin Goodman, and embarking on mini vacations. Cooking, baking, and swimming were among her favorite activities, but nothing compared to the joy she found in spending time with her family. Her granddaughter, BaileighAnn, was the light of her life, along with her grandsons, Konnar and Graisen. Kim's love extended to all those around her, making every moment count.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her husband, Franklin; her mother, Ailene Bailey Peters ( Homer Nutter); her brother, Larry Peters Jr. (married to Heather); her daughter, Tiffany Picklesimer (married to Blake); her son, Timothy Toler (married to Alexandria); her stepson, Gary Morgan (married to Kelli); her aunt, Arlene Bailey (married to Norman); and her uncle, Wannis Bailey (married to Macel), bher uncle, Gary peters (married to Barbra), her best friends, Rachel, Lisa, Cheryl, Lynn, Sheila, along with many of her close family and friends, Kim was preceded in death by her father, Larry Peters Sr., Granny Irene, Papaw Henry, Acey Bailey (married to Ruby Gibson Bailey), and Pearl Hall.

Services to honor Kim's life will be held at Lighthouse Community Church in Copperston, WV, where friends and family are invited to gather and celebrate her memory. Family and friends can join from 11-1 and services will start at 1 by Kenny Simpson and Ryan Daniel's. The McCarty Funeral Home in Sevierville, TN, is assisting with the arrangements.

Kim's legacy of love, laughter, and kindness will forever be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
