Gary and all the Davis Family,
I only knew Gary from Bud Davis Cadillac & Cadillac of Memphis. I had gotten to know Bud pretty well over all the years that I leased & bought cars from his establishment. My mother had graduated from high school with him & Buster at Belmont, MS. When I introduced myself to him in the '80's and told him who my mother was, he was like we were best friends. He would always sit and talk to you like you were his friend and not just a customer. He left a world for a much better place. Praying for all of you through this difficult time in your lives. He will be missed!

Mr. Bud was always good to me. I have the utmost respect for him. Sorry to not have him around. My prayers go out to Gary, Chris and his family.

Gary,Chris and the entire Davis family - I have a tremendous amount of respect for Mr.Davis - He no doubt has touched many peoples lives in a positive way both in his personal and professional life. He was a "Car Guy's " Car-Guy - our industry lost a great one. Please know that the entire Davis family will be in our prayers during this most difficult time.

Gary, Chris & Family. Some of my best memories in life are associated with my employment @ Bud Davis Cadillac. I am truly soory to hear of his passing. He is home know with Joy & Devon. He was always pleasant to work with and for, and sometimes told jokes that made me laugh. The news was devastating to learn ... and it immediately brought tears to my eyes and saddeness in my heart to hear of the passing of the "ONE and ONLY CADILLAC MAN and Gentleman of Gentlemen" BUD DAVIS. WOW!! What a tremendous guy and legacy he leaves. He has put MEMPHIS on the map as the PREMIER CADILLAC store in the nation. The COMRADERY that he instituted in the legacy he leaves is priceless. I will always remember the tremendous heart that MR. DAVIS displayed and I'm sure it will live on in the leaders that he has groomed. I miss you guys and will forever consider MEMPHIS my home and BUD DAVIS my dealer of dealers. I can rejoice with the many people who knew and loved Kindle "Bud" Davis; because he is in a better place with his LORD and Savior. I played on the basketball "Team of the Century" in 1960-61 and Coach Davis instilled in me the discipline to reach important goals in my life.
