Kris Foster

Kris Foster was taken from us suddenly on April 13, 2013 in a motorcycle accident and went to be with the Lord. He had spent the majority of his life in Bay County, Florida. Kris had many hats but he was known for his laughter, jokes and eagerness to help the other person. To some, he was known as the "Ice Man" from days of working at Admiral Ice and Reddy Ice, before moving onto Big 10 Tires, in the three locations in town and on the beach. Nowadays, you could find Kris at PepBoys on the beach. There, he worked side-by-side with a wonderful team of individuals locally and nationwide.

Kris seem to always want to say hi or help the next person in whatever they may be needing to attempt. He was also known for not only being a company man by his family, but a family man as well, to others. Kris enjoyed fishing, riding his motorcycle, working on cars, watching a sunset, spending time with his family, BBQ, and traveling.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Russell and Katherine Foster and Elbert and Irene Blakely; and brothers Mike and William (Scooter) Foster. He is survived by wife, Teryl Foster; and his three boys, Kristopher Foster, Jr., Andrew Foster, and Zachary Foster; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Foster and Mr. and Mrs. Neville; siblings Danny Foster (Erin), Katy Foster and Donna Foster (Scott); numerous Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins, and extended family.

We want to give a special thank you for your love and support during this time, especially to the EMS team, E.R. staff at Bay Medical, Kent Forest Funeral Home, PepBoys, Wal-Mart #818 family, L.O.D. brothers and sisters and others in the community. Our community outreach of love and affection has been overwhelming.

A local memorial service ride, "Kruisin' with Kris", will be held in Panama City, Florida on Saturday, April 20, 2013. Please join us for a memorial and remembrance beginning at 2 p.m. at the Country Inn and Suites located at 2203 Harrison Avenue Panama City, Florida 32405. Then the celebration ride will begin. The Panama City L.O.D. chapter will be hosting an open house at 5 p.m to honor Kris. Following open house located at 3106 W. 18th Street in Panama City, the ride will continue to Salty Goat (Red Door) on the beach for a final farewell celebration of his life. Donations will be accepted and will go to the family for funeral expenses. Everyone is invited to attend his celebration of life before his interment in Fosters, Alabama.
