With Laird's passing, Brenda and I and many like us at the Metropolitan Bible Church here in Ottawa, have lost a dear friend. Our respect for Laird and his family, our shared love for the Lord Jesus and His work, and of course our common love for Mary, knit our hearts together with a bond that miles and all too infrequent meetings and the passage of time could not break. Yet we say, with trusting hearts, God is good and He knows best. We look forward to seeing Laird again and, in the meantime ... Mary and family... we will pray that the comfort of the Holy Spirit and the love of your Heavenly Father will be your sustaining strength.
With much love,
John and Brenda Gowling

Our deepest sympathy to the whole Hamilton family, especially Mary, Steve, Joy and Mark and all their families. We will deeply miss Laird, his love and acceptance and true friendship. We thank God for his devotion to the Word of God and teaching us over the years. His example of loving Christ, living for Christ and trying to love all mankind as God loves will never be forgotten. We love all of you and again, deepest sympathy.
