My family and I lived a few houses down from Larry and his wife in Jourdanton. Larry and I used to visit almost daily, as he rode around the neighborhood in his wheelchair. He was such a nice man, and he had the most amazing stories! Usually kept me laughing, which is exactly what I needed after a stressful day at work. You will be missed Mr. Larry!

My husband Max and I met Larry and Mary thru our membership at First Baptist Church, Pleasanton. We were always impressed by his goodwill for others, such as how he personally collected and trucked needed items to New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. After his debilitating stroke, he continued to maintain a cheerful attitude and strived to overcome his disabilities. I will always remember him as a smiling "people person". Now he´s walking and running on streets of gold, happily accepting new duties from Jesus. Larry, many of us will remember how yours was a life well lived here on Planet Earth!
