Larry Hamrick Obituary
Larry was born January 1, 1948 in Webster Springs, WV to Corley and Arzona {McCartney} Hamrick.
He married Sharon Carpenter on July 24, 1971.
He was a member of the Canaan Freewill Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Eagles in Medina. He loved to mow the grass and snow blow the entire neighborhood. His pride and joy are the grandchildren. Larry liked to hunt deer and take road trips. He liked to spoil his children and his wife, spend time with his friends, and he would give you the shirt off his back.
Larry will be deeply missed by his one true love Sharon; daughter Crystal (Derek) Eklum; son Steven Hamrick; grandchildren Jacks and Jace Eklum; brothers Roger (Missy) Hamrick, Jerry (Jeanette) Hamrick; sisters Belva Longdon, Wilma Hamrick, Brenda Carpenter, Lorna (Bo) McCourt, Anita (Kent) Aleshire, and Drema (Wayne) Gray.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jimmie, Parris and Harry Hamrick, and sisters Velda Barbe, and Ina Cogar.
Friends may call Thursday March 2 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster. Funeral services will be Friday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Aaron Bailey officiating. Burial will be at Sherwood Memorial Gardens. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial contributions may be made to the family or Canaan Freewill Baptist Church 12723 Cleveland Rd. Creston, OH 44217.

Larry (have to call him that, he always corrected me when I said Mr. Hamrick!) was one of the nicest people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. He was warm and inviting, and always had a smile on his face when he spoke with you. I know how dearly he loved his family, his friends, and his neighbors. He did such an amazing job taking care of everyone, and was always thinking about and looking out for others. It truly is sad and painful to have to write these words. We really lost a great one. Rest in peace Larry, we all miss you so much.

Larry was the most sweetest person I ever met. He always made me laugh and was good to everyone he met, I will truly miss him at the Eagles but will always remember him and thank God I had the chance to be a friend. Rest In Peace Larry you will always be in my heart.
