LAURA HIME DEGER Laura Hime Deger of Palm Beach Gardens passed away last Sunday evening, April 6, 2003 at the Jupiter Medical Center in Jupiter, Florida as a result of respiratory arrest. On St. Valentines Day 1946, in the middle of a Chicago blizzard, she married Clarence I. Deger, of Middletown, Ohio. In 1947 she returned to the Palm Beaches and raised her family. She was a past president of the Junior League of the Palm Beaches. It was during her Presidency that the Palm Beach County Chapter obtained its national charter. She was also a member of the PEO Sisterhood. Mrs. Deger was the daughter of the late Roy and Hazel Hime. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Clarence, five children, David , Anna , John , Jean and Jane , five grandchildren, two step- grandchildren, a sister Hazel Hime Kohl and two nephews.
