Laura Elizabeth was wonderfully spirited who wore a halo of energized ready-fun, where she was going, you wanted to go, too! Laura was cool. She wore her manners and fashion with effortless perfection. I met Laura in 1978 when I pledged Chi Omega at East Carolina University, she was friendly, personable, welcoming and an instant sister to me at that time. Laura will be sorely missed.

Laura was a neighbor of ours for several years in Raleigh. She was always very friendly, sweet, and kind and very pretty too. My heart goes out to her family and loved ones in their loss.

Laura and I met when we worked at Body Billboards Screen printing in Durham NC. We became friends and remained in touch until the mid 2010's. She was a touchstone of mine while I was looking after my father after my mother died and I tried to be supportive of her while she took care of her brother Michael before he died. Laura had a wonderful sense of humor, impeccable taste, a fine appreciation for art and good food and a love of her home. She adored her pets and could also be gregarious and social. I'm proud and honored to have known her and am terribly saddened by the news of her death. I will always remember and love my friend dearly. She will be sorely missed, Rest in Peace.
