Dear Art, Lynn and Kyle,
We have thought of you all often over the last 13 years and today we decided to google you to see what you were up to... It was then that we came upon your beautiful tribute to your sweet daughter Lauren. It has saddened us beyond belief to read about what she and you have gone through over the years. But we wanted to let you know how moved we were reading all the wonderful messages and how much we enjoyed seeing all your beautiful photos! We remember Lauren as the sweetest little girl and all of you as the nicest next door neighbors when we lived at 107 Alfred Ct - We send you all love and prayers for peace ~ Warmly, Hillary and AJ Siebeneck (and children Ellie 14, Maddie 10 and Jack 4)

Your daughter was such a joy to know. I liken her to many of the angels sent from heaven, in stories in the bible. She was exactly that for me and my family. The loving care that she gave to our family through her own struggles will always be one of the greatest acts of kindness that I have seen in all my years. I am truly sorry for your loss, and grieve alongside you. May you feel the love of the body of Christ.

When I was dignoised with gastroparesis, I did not know who turn to, so I found support in a support group for young adults and teens with the disease. Lauren was the first friend, and support person I really drew from this group. We texted before and during every procedure, hospitalization, doctors visit. She fueled my determination to persue my dreams of becoming a child life specialist and we would both work in the same hospital system one day. She educated me on my own body and each new device I got implanted as both of ours were shutting down. She pushed me to be not a sick kid, but a proud survivor of the horrible circumstances we were in. Lauren I will never be able to thank you for the sister you were to me And everytime I eat something, I will think of you and I making plans to eat bacon cheese burgers and ice cream sundays and running for miles just because we could. You are one of the most beautiful souls, and I am so glad I got experience it. It is a privilege to say I knew you. Rest well dear butterfly, and I hope to catch a meal with you up in a floating resturant, and finally get our adventure in together.

Words will never be able to express how much I love and miss Lauren. She was truly one of the most kind, caring, and compassionate people I have ever known. She was beautiful both inside and out. When I was diagnosed with RSD five years ago, Laur was the first person to reach out to me and offer a helping hand and a shoulder to lean on. She was there for me through the good and the bad and reminded me through example that you must stay strong and always keep fighting - we can never give up. Laur was so very brave and selfless; a stranger would have never known that she was battling so much. She inspired me to chase after my dreams and to live every single day to the fullest. I never imagined that I would gain not only a best friend in her, but also a sister. I will always cherish our day together in Asheville and our endless conversations. I love you so very much, Lauren and I already miss you more than I realized was possible. You will always be with me in my heart and soul. Art, Lynn, and Kyle, I am so very sorry for your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Much Love Forever and Always,

You have always been in my prayers and I will continue to pray that God will give you strength and healing over the days to come as you suffer from the loss. Please know that she is suffering no more and is healed. What a wonderful time she is having with God, sitting at His feet and worshiping him with my David.

My thoughts and prayers are with your family. Lauren was a beautiful person inside and out. She was an inspiration and role model to many of us. How can one person be so brave, courageous, beautiful, smart, passionate, compassionate, and selfless? Yet she possessed all those qualities and is dearly missed. She was a bright spot in many people's lives and will continue to be. Her spirit will live on in all of us. May you rest in peace, sweet angel.

Dear Art & Lynn,
Comfort, peace, and serenity is what I wish I could bring you, but most of all I wish I could send Laur, your gorgeous daughter with a brilliant mind, selfless soul, compassionate heart, and courageous spirit, back into your warm embrace so you could hold her forever more. Steadfast in her faith, reading her Devotions daily, and consistently engaging in prayer, asking for God's mercy, especially in recent times, I know she found solace in God and accepted His Word and decisions. I have no doubt that God tenderly carried her into Heaven, where she is now reunited with her "sweet Mitchie," as she affectionately called him. Even so, I'm not ready to live in a world, where Lauren only lives in my heart.
Laur's pure heart, radiant spirit and healing hands have left indelible marks upon my soul, forever etched in my heart. As her friend, her sissy and soul sister, her person, as she would say (and exactly how I will always feel about her), the grief and inexplicable agony I feel is immense, but I know it cannot compare to the harrowing pain and unspeakable agony that has overcome your hearts, for I know both of you loved her fiercely and in the deepest and purest way possible, for both of you are and always will be her mom and dad, who she loved unconditionally, as you did of her. Nearly every day, we chatted, whether it was about our secret wishes, hopes and dreams, or confiding in one another about our doubts, fears, and sadness, or giggling about the silliest things. We often spoke about breaking free, literally and figuratively carrying one another on an adventurous journey of discovery, exploring the world and our passions, while growing together. We even joked about pouring Pink Moscato in our lines, growing old together, and happily getting fat from imported gelato from Italy.
Though both of us were frustrated with illness, craving independence, we lovingly spoke of our families, knowing we belonged at home, both blessed to have incredible parents that would give their lives for us. Lynn, Lauren spoke of your courage, saying you were much stronger than you ever knew, and how she was in awe of you, how you were hero. Art, Lauren saw you as her protector, impressed with your strength in your support for her, how you fought for her in a special way comparable to none. She said she may not have thanked both of you enough, but Lynn, she was so grateful and relieved to have you at her side at every single hospital stay, and Art when you were arrived, she would tell me how excited she was. Art, she was relieved that you were recently able to work at home more, knowing you were there for her to confide in and find comfort from when she needed it the most.
I would've have done anything, and I did everything I possibly could've for Lauren, and I will always do anything I can for your family. I will love Laur, the beautiful, Lauren Georgia, always and forever.
With friendship and my sincerest love,
Allie Healy
The photo I attached is from, 8-28-2014. "God does notice us, and He watches over us. But it is usually through another person that He meets our needs." Spencer W. Kimball. Soon before this photo was taken, I was crying, with tears visibly streaming down my cheeks. Lauren kindly wiped them away, wondering the reason for the tears. Seeing Lauren smile, breathing the fresh air outside of the hospital for the first time in weeks, I was overcome with great emotion. It was our first time together, both free from the hospital, yet our last time together in person. That's the moment this photo captures.

Dear Kyle,
We have never met, but I was blessed to know your mom, dad, and sister, all of whom I've come to know due to my own health journey, and I love them as my family. While Lauren and I did not grow up together, we frequently spoke of our families and shared stories from our past. Lauren would smile as she spoke about the two of you as young children. She said you were one of the sweetest little boys, with the kindest hearts, who would go out of his way to help others, even if you had never met them. I am sorry that I never had the chance to meet you too. I know she was not able to see you as frequently as she would've liked, but she told me she was always hoping that your life would be filled the greatest happiness possible. While Lauren and I were best friends, and always referred to one another sisters, she truly was your sister, and I cannot begin to fathom your loss. I am so sorry Kyle. When someone dies, I know it is not always helpful, and can be quite annoying when out of courtesy people say 'I know he/she loved you." But in this case, I know she did, and she told me every time she spoke of you. Wishing you peace and brighter days ahead.
Sincerely,
Allie Healy.

Friends,
We wanted to let you know that our daughter, Lauren, passed away over the weekend. It was a long and challenging journey for Lauren, especially these past two years. Despite all the obstacles, her faith remained strong and she persevered with great strength, courage and determination. This is a bittersweet moment in time for Lynn, Kyle and myself, we find great solace in knowing that Lauren is at peace and pain free for the first time in years. Heaven got a beautiful angel and we look forward to seeing her again!
Lauren's wish was for a celebration of her life versus a funeral, and we will share those plans as they come together over the next couple of weeks.
