Dearest Belle, Charlie and Henry,
I first met Laurie when I moved to Warrnambool, to complete my nursing degree. It was my first experience living away from the family home and quite a daunting one at that. I remember working for a short while at the Warrnambool Hotel. It was there that I first encountered Laurie with his cheeky grin and his mischievous ways. He took me under his wing and we became fast friends. Laurie was always there for me. A real prankster he was, but when it came down to the serious matters in life, Laurie was one to count on - a true friend. I remember when he first met you in Queensland, Belle. He returned to Melbourne and could talk of nothing else! I had the opportunity to babysit Charlie when he was just a baby. I could see instantly how wonderfully easy it had been for Laurie to fall in love with you, Belle, and what a beautiful family he has created for himself! It has been years since Laurie and I have spoken, but I have often thought of him and the fun times we once shared. I embarked upon a search on google today to attempt to contact him as he has entered my mind a lot of late, and was shocked and in disbelief to discover his obituary. I wish to offer my condolances and share my deepest regret at the loss of such a wonderful young man. May his spirit live on in our memories and forever in our hearts. All of my love to you Belle, Charlie and Henry.

The world has lost a funny, caring, kind hearted man and it still does not ring true that you are gone. All the fun memories i will hold close.
