To Irene, John and families, my very sincere sympathy in the loss of your beloved Laurie. My family remembers her from Thom Collegiate days. May you find comfort through family and friends and know that she is now at peace. Her children will know her from the many cherished memories you have and can share with them as they age. May God take care of each of you.

To Laurie's family,
I was Laurie's early childhood EPS instructor at the University of Regina. She was a joy to have in class and an inspiration to all. What a courageous young woman. May God give you peace, strength and hope to get you through this very sad time.

I had the pleasure of working with Laurie for a few years at Environment. She always had a big smile on her face and was so much fun to be around. She was always such a happy person, just a pleasure to work with. I was just at the CF fundraiser tonite and was so hearbroken to hear that she had passed away just a few days ago. She will be missed by many. My sincere sympathy to all her family.

I went to highschool with Laurie, and all I have for her is great memories. She always lit up the room with her big smile and large laugh. Her family must be so proud of her successes, optimism and most of all, her strength.

Laurie has brought such joy to our family from the moment we met the crazy teenager who became such a wonderful woman. Our hearts break because her own children will not get to experience what our own children did with her. The joy she brought us will live in our memories forever. She has been a special blessing from God who has her in his tender care.
