Lawrence Meck Obituary

Lawrence Harrison Meck II

Passed away at Northwest Hospital in Tucson Arizona on April 16 2023 joining his two Sons "John Meck , David Meck" and daughter "Christina Meck" surviving his many children Amy, Larry, Mikey, Sharon, Robert, James, "Little" Linda ,Heather Hamm, Larry Hamm, step children ,William and Marie and his wife of 45 years Linda Ann Meck "Pringle".

He loved his family and although he did not know how to show love effectively, it was because he was not shown it himself.

Older Generations are still lost in how to show love, compassion, and sometimes ,understanding.

Ask your family those burning questions and find peace and understanding, hear their stories and find forgiveness. People want to be loved and when rejected ,they themselves begin to hurt those they love the most. Unintentionally but still causing pain and pushing people away.

As my father got older his heart softened, he spoke kinder and gave more gratitude, showing his granddaughter Angel so much love. I'm thankful that I got to know our father and who he was, not just the torture that was his own life but the fun and blissfil moments he and my mother shared. I am forever thankful to God for the years we shared with him here in AZ. As he would come into the shop and help me tear down cars, or just sit around talking shop talk. He loved racing cars when he was younger, as his last wish was to live past the Nascar race and five mins after the Nascar race ended ,he passed.

God is a forgiving God, a merciful God. I am so proud of my father as the last few years of his life he began to engage with Christ. Leave nothing unsaid I told my father and his message to all of his children was "I'm sorry ,I love you all ,and God loves you "

Dad I love you, we love you,I forgave you many years ago, rest easy. Watch over us all and keep us safe.

Little Linda...
