Lenora Long Obituary
LENORA ELAINE SLEY, 92
Weirsdale - Lenora S. Long, 92, died May 30, 2016 at Brentwood Terrace Nursing Home in Paris, TX. Mrs. Long was a native of Orlando, FL. and moved to Weirsdale in 1954 where she resided until she was 85. She was an Elder in Weirsdale Presbyterian Church and was very active in the women's organization.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman E. Long Sr.;, her parents, Dutch and Davena Sley; a sister, Gretchen Minter; and a brother, George Sley.
Lenora is survived by three sons, Herman Ellis Long Jr. (Wanda) Belleview, Sam V. Long (Lynne) Lake Creek, TX., Ronald G. Long (Debby) Ocala; six grandchildren, Herman E. Long III (Erin) Seattle WA., Jodi Long Hightower (Chad) Belleview, Amy Long Griffin (Ray) Ocala, Greg Long (Jill) Conway AR., Joy Long Cleveland Ms., Sammy Long (Jamie) Lake Creek, TX; 10 great - grandchildren.
Memorial service will be held June 17, 2016 at 10:30 a.m. at Weirsdale Presbyterian Church. In Lieu of flowers if you like to donate to the Scholarship fund at the Weirsdale Presbyterian Church.
