Leonard BURTON

BURTON _ Leonard James August 10, 1923 - September 28, 2003 Quietly in the Oilfields General Hospital in Black Diamond at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Helen for fifty-three years. He will be lovingly remembered by his son Laird and his wife Jan; and his daughter Laura and her husband David Keeley. He was a loving grandfather to Bryn and Glynnis Burton and to Aidan and Leah Keeley. He will be sorely missed by his much-loved nieces and nephews and their families. The family wishes to express their thanks and gratitude to Dr. Siray, Dr. Branch and Dr. Higgin and to all the staff of the Oilfields General Hospital for their compassionate and extraordinary care. If desired memorial donations may be made to the Oilfields Health Foundation, Bag No. 1, Black Diamond, Alberta T0L 0H0. Len donated his body to Division of Morphological Sciences at the University of Calgary. There will be no Funeral Service. The family will be at home, 218 Royal Avenue, Turner Valley, on Sunday, October 5 to share memories with friends and relatives. 144648
