My second cousin! You and my mother were about the same age and friends as cousins- I only had the opportunity to meet you once at my mom's when you came up to show me your work and ask a question. The occasion was etched to my memory. Now you join my mother and her father Donald Cairns, from whom you developed the grand interest in metal. I greatly appreciate your efforts to the world at large- and for coming to say Hi that day in Des Moines, Wa though I could never come down to see what you did...
