Liam Donnelly Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers from Jul. 2 to Jul. 9, 2009.
Donnelly Liam Swellan, Cavan and Glasnevin Dublin. Died 15th May 2009. Liam's mother Mary and sisters Bernadette, Jacinta and Angela, Brothers- in- Law Richard and Alan and his nieces and nephews, Linda, Paul, Sharon, Jennifer, Aaron and Alex wish to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our, recent sad loss of Liam. We would like to take this opportunity especially to thank all his friends who sat with us during his week in hospital to all those who rang and called in with their kind wishes. To all those who attended the removal and thanksgiving Mass in Cavan and funeral Mass in Dublin and to all those who travelled long distances to be there. For all those who sent Mass cards, floral tributes, sympathy cards and very kind letters following Liam's death. A special thanks goes to the doctors, nurses and staff of Cavan General Hospital who cared for Liam, to Father Peter Mc Partland who celebrated the Masses with Father John Gilhooly and Father Brendan Quinlan, to the singers and organist at both Killygarry Church, Cavan and Mother of Divine Grace, Ballygall. A thank you to John Mc Mahon for his care and attention to detail in his funeral arrangements. A thank you to An Garda Siochana from the Cavan- Monaghan district and the G. R.A. for their attendance and their excellent guard of honours carried out in both Cavan and Dublin. Liam would have been very proud of his send- off. We particularly want to thank the Sharkey family and Dominic Hunt for all their help, kindness and support throughout this time. As it is impossible to thank everyone individually we hope that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere thanks. Liam's Months Mind Mass was celebrated on Saturday 20th June 2009 at 4.00 pm in Killygarry Church and Saturday 27th June 2009 at 6.30 pm in Mother of Divine Grace Ballygall Dublin. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass was offered for your intentions.
