Family-Placed Death Notice

DONOFF, Linda Linda Weinberg Donoff, 64, of Stone Mountain, GA passed away July 1, 2011. Linda was employed by Emory Health Care Systems for 38 years and was the office manager for the Department of Neurointerventional Radiology. Mrs. Donoff was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and a good friend to all she met. Linda is survived by her loving husband of 46 years Jay Donoff of Stone Mountain; daughters and son in-law Jessica & Chris Parkes of Martinez, GA, and Stacie Donoff of Kingsland, GA; grandchildren Zachary Louis Parkes, Nicole Brittany Donoff, and Alexis Rose Parkes; her loving poodle Onyx; sisters and brothers in-laws Jackie & Al Goldberg, Shelly & Ron Nawrozski; brother and sister in-law Stuart & Patti Weinberg; sister in-law and brother in-law Lee & Bill LaCorte; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at Patterson's Arlington Chapel. Interment will follow at Arlington Memorial Park. I am so saddened to hear of Linda's sudden death. She was always so ready to help and advise in any situation. She will be greatly missed at Emory as well as by her many friends and family. My prayers go out to you.

I'm still in shock, Linda was a sweet, kind person, She is/will be truly missed within the Emory family. I would always see her in the morning getting off the elevator-she would be coming to work & I would be going home. I will miss seeing her in the mornings. RIP Linda, Gone but never forgotton

Linda was my "Jewish mother" at Emory, as she often reminded me. She threatened to make a trip to Detroit sometime. I told her to try. We laughed until we cried and then we laughed some more.
