Linda Orlovski-Longacre Obituary
Linda grew up in Kersey, graduating from Platte Valley High School. She then attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, where she received an associate's degree in agricultural education.
On September 4, 1999, Linda married Kelly Longacre at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Greeley.
Linda worked as the manager of Thrifty Nickel Want Ads/American Classifieds from 1986 to 2005. She was a member of the Weld County Chamber of Commerce, past Weld County Fair Board Member and Secretary, past Colorado Foundation Chair, Past Colorado FFA Alumni Chair, Lifetime member of the National FFA Alumni, Franklin 4-H leader and a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. Linda also could not say no to rescue foster dogs, which her and Kelly kept.
Linda has a passion for helping kids and being a help wherever she was needed through the organizations she was very active in. Linda loved to cook Italian food and especially her mashed potatoes. She grew many flowers, which were shown in the Weld County and Colorado State Fairs. She loved to entertain friends and have family gatherings at her and Kelly's home. Linda was always willing to help someone in need.
Linda is survived by her husband, Kelly of Greeley; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Donna and William S. Longacre of Loveland; aunt, Mary Jane Hall of Greeley; sister-in-law, Katie (John) Capron of Cheyenne, Wyoming; brother-in-law, William D. (Jennifer) Longacre of Greeley and nephew, Mike Orlovski of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Eddie Orlovski, Jr. and Michael Orlovski, Sr.
Celebration of Life will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Washington Leadership Scholarship (FFA) or High Country Bassett Hounds Rescue in care of Stoddard Funeral Home, 3205 West 28th Street, Greeley, Colorado 80634.

Linda, it's been a year since the last time I saw u. I miss u dearly some days are harder then others and I still cannot imagine life without u .....but it is true and I know that u will always be with me in spirit and in heart! I love Linda always have always will RIP LINDA!

Kelly, my thoughts are with you at this time. Linda was a special person in my life from the time we meet in FFA as Juniors and Seniors from the time you were married. You both are special to me and Linda made a difference in my life as I know she did many others. Sorry I was unable to attend the service.

I just want to say that our friendship does not have to end here..... We hope to continue seeing you and hopefully someday we will all be just sitting there remeniscing about the good old days when we would go and spend weeks at a time at ur house........ We Miss Linda sooooooo much it's hard.... Going days and days without talking to her My kids or should I say our kids love you and her very very much and I want u to know that. There isn't a day that goes by when I don't have a crazy memory of her . One day at a time....... We love u dearly

While I didn't know Linda very well, when I did meet her about 2 years ago, she was a very warm and loving person. She knew me through my older brothers and dad from PVHS. She was always willing to help others. Her passing is a shock, but at least she won't be in pain.
