Linda Stevens Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 8, 2018.
On Tuesday, November 6, 2018, Linda Stevens, loving wife, mother and nana passed away with her daughter by her side at the age of 67 from liver cancer in Georgetown, TX.
Linda was born on May 3, 1951 in Riverside, CA to Aubrey and Ardith Jean (Nolen) Hicklin. Linda was raised in Southern California and relocated to Redding CA in 1992 where she met her husband, Glenn and they married on December 23, 1996.
Linda was caring and passionate about people and enjoyed her career as a caregiver throughout the years. One of the best days of her life was the day her twin grandson's where born. She was so excited to be a Nana. She loved gardening, decorating, she was an excellent cook, she loved frosting Christmas cookies and teaching her grandson's how to make homemade bread.
She's known for her quick wit, her infectious smile, her kind and compassionate and even a little rebellious spirit. She was an amazing friend always there to listen and lend a helping hand. But most of all she was an incredible mother and my best friend.

I miss you mom
I thought of you with love today,
But that is nothing new.
I thought about you yesterday, and the day before that too.
I often speak your name.
All I have are memories, and your picture in a frame.
Your memory is my keepsake, with which I'll never part.
God has you in his keeping, I have you in my heart.
