Alisha D. Matthews

March 29, 2005

To Nikki, Toni, and the Payne/Griffin Family:

I know you're hurting right now. You've lost someone you love and the grief cuts through you. You're not mourning your loved one's passing; you know that a child of God is back with the Heavenly Father. No, you don't cry for the person, you cry for yourself, for your loss.

Now is the time that you need your Lord the most. Let Him comfort you and release the pain that pierces your heart. Let Him hold you in His arms and rock you as you shed your tears. It's okay to cry----you are hurting. But know that God will bring light into your darkness. Know that "Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes int he morning." Have courage. It will soon be morning!

With my sincerest and deepest Sympathy,

Alisha and Amauria "Alex" Matthews In Memory of Alexander Matthews

An Angels Touch

We all find a friend

In pain and sorrow

But life, always moves on,

And is easier tomorrow

If you banish your tears,

And listen for a while

Remaining quite calm,

You may soon break a smile

For an Angel, will be softly

Brushing your cheek

Telling you that it's all right

And life's not so bleak

This Angel may be feeling

As much sadness, as you

As she gently caress your tears

And try to ease you through

For this Angel may well be

This very person, that you miss

And trying to console you,

And tell you it's alright

It's ok to cry for your Angel is near.

Words of Encouragement

Psalm 28:14

Wait on the Lord: be of good courage, and he shall strength thine heart: wait I say, on the Lord.

He will comfort us in all our tribulations.

I am with you always; even unto the end of the world. Amen

Matthew 28:20

Just wanted to say we are thinking of you and remind you that God loves you.

There are so many uncertainties in this life. Day by day, moment by moment, we know not what the future holds. "But we do know who holds our future".

Precious memories of Lois will remain in our hearts.

Love you in Christ
