WEXLER Lois R. Lois R. Wexler of Toledo, OH, died Sunday, July 8, 2007, in The Toledo Hospital following a brief illness. She was 79. Born in Toledo, OH the daughter of Samuel and Frieda Katz, she married Fred Wexler also of Toledo, who preceded her in death in 2003. An active member of Toledo's Jewish Community, she was a long time member of Congregation B'nai Israel and its Sisterhood, was the former activities co-ordinator and a volunteer at the Darlington House, a member of the Star of Hope, and B'nai Brith Bowling League; as well as a volunteer for the Seeing Eye Center as a Braille transcriber. Also preceding her in death was her son, Barry Wexler and sister, Ruth Weinstein. Surviving are sons, Mark (Barbara) Wexler and Kevin (Cynthia) Wexler of Temperance, MI; daughter-in-law, Carol Wexler of Ocala, FL; daughter, Cindy Ann (Dave Sheppard) Wexler of Plantersville, TX; grandchildren, Michael Wexler, Stephen (Lisa) Wexler and Jamie (Melanie) Wexler, Stacie (fiance, John Bess) Wexler, Arik Wexler, Scott Wexler, Bryan Wexler and Andrea Wexler; also great-grandchildren, Luke Wexler and Abigail Wexler. Services will be held Tuesday July 10, 2007, at 11:00 a.m. in the Robert H. Wick/Wisniewski Funeral Home, 2426 North Reynolds Rd. Interment Beth Shalom Cemetery. Following services and through Thursday family and friends will be received in the Wexler home. Memorial tributes suggested in the form of contributions to the charity of the donor's choice.

there are no words that can ease the pain you feel in your heart with the passing of lois but know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. (we cleaned for lois and fred. they were such a special couple and they are now together again in god's heavenly kingdom).
