Loren Guard Obituary
Doug was born in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, and later settled in Illinois, where he helped raise his daughters. Eventually, he made his home in Texas, where he continued building a life filled with love and purpose alongside his wife, Tracee.
A dedicated accountant and the owner of Book of Numbers, Doug brought integrity and heart to his work. Outside of his profession, he was a man of many passions. He had a deep love for music and enjoyed playing bass with many groups over the years. Doug's faith guided every part of his life, and he lived it out by serving the Lord with joy and humility.
He will be remembered for his warmth, generosity, quick wit, and a laugh that could brighten any room. Doug was the kind of person who made others feel seen, heard, and loved.
He is survived by his daughters: Danielle (Max) Siggeman, Devin (Luke) Davidson, and Breea Rogalla; He also leaves behind his granddaughter Briley; mother, Linda (Russ) Hall; his brother, Tony (Sharon) Guard; his nieces Megan (Blake), Jesse (Ethan) and Lacey; his nephews Justus and Ian; great nieces Evelyn and Isla; along with his bonus daughters: Darrian, Heather, Ashley, and Torrey and many bonus grandchildren.
Doug is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife, Tracee Rogalla-Guard; his sister, Angel Guard; and his father, Loren Guard.
A memorial service will be held at Florence Baptist Church to celebrate Doug's life, faith, and the love he gave so freely.
Doug lived a life full of grace, humor, and devotion-and he leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to shine through all who knew him.
