Christine and the Dupont Family:
I have had you, your family and Taylor on my mind and in my prayers, especially during this Christmas season. I pray you have peace during your holidays.
Chris, sorry I missed seeing you at Lori's visitation. I am so sorry for your loss.
I use to see Lori often when she lived breifly down the beach from me at the Lake Erie Country Club.
What sits so haunting in my mind is Taylor's loss. As a single mom of a 5 year old girl, Grace, (I adopted from Russia)I know I am the whole world to my daughter. As Lori is to Taylor. God bless and protect Taylor.
Chris, if you are in Amherstburg during Christmas, Elsa and I are in town. We talk often and we'd love to see you.
Merry Christmas and God Bless.

I just returned to Whitehorse yesterday, and heard the tragic news about Lori . Lori was more than just a past co-worker, she was a dear friend and I will never forget her! Lori touched my life when she was in Whitehorse. She offered me words of support through my difficult times and always saw the good in people.I am so thankful that she was there for me. She was a true friend and Someone who impacted my life. Even though Lori and I only communicated once or twice a year after she left Whitehorse she was still a long distance friend. I will miss her! My deepest sympathy goes out to the Dupont family and My thoughts and prayers are with you all. To Taylor," your mom was truely the greatest." Love, Patricia McParland ( Whitehorse, Yukon)

I am so sorry about your loss, I have heard such wonderful things about Lori, and I can see that she was truly loved by many people. Through this hard time of your lives, I pray that you all can some how find strength in this. I know that Lori is at rest in heaven, and you all will be re united with her someday for eternity. It is very hard to think like that when a precious life is taken so suddenly with out notice, but my prayer for you and yours is that you all can find shelter from the storm, and some sort of peace in your heart. God says to come to him those who are weary, and he will give you rest. Remember in the eye of the storm, if you just keep your eye on the light that seems so far away right now, everyday you will get closer and closer to that light. May peace and comfort be with you all, and in my prayers I will keep you.

On the day that we laid my sister to rest there was the first snowfall of the winter. It was as though the very elements themselves were saddened by the taking of a life so suddenly, so short, so before her natural time.
I only wish that every family could have a sister like her, yet none should ever suffer this loss in the way that we have. We miss you Lori, I miss you. Till we see one another again.

ON THE NIGHT OF LORI'S DEATH
MY WIFE AND I WERE LYING IN BED,
IT BEGAN TO RAIN, I TOLD MY WIFE THE ANGELS WERE CRYING. THEIR TEARS BEGAN TO FALL ON OUR HOME.
WE HEARD THEM SPREAD OVER OUR YARD, THEN SPREAD OVER THE TOWN.
THE ANGELS WERE CRYING NOT TO SEE LORI, BUT BECAUSE SHE SHOULD NOT HAVE BEEN AT THEIR DOOR, IT WAS NOT HER TIME!!!
THE NIGHT OF LORI'S BURIAL, AS WE LEFT MY SISTER'S HOME. WE NOTICED A NEW STAR WAS SHINING EVER SO BRIGHT!! WE NEW WHO IT WAS BECAUSE IT BROUGHT SO MUCH LIGHT, AS DID LORI TO EVRYONE AROUND HER.
WE WILL ALWAYS LOVE HER
UNCLE BRAD AND AUNT ANGIE
WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS OUR GRATITUDE FOR YOUR SUPPORT. THANK YOU!!!!

Words can not express the sorrow felt upon hearing about Lori. We worked together at St.John's in Detroit. Lori's smile would light up the room and she would make us laugh telling her stories. She frequently talked about her family with such affection. Lori was an excellent nurse whose compassion and kindness was felt by all who knew her. She remains in the hearts of her co-workers from 4-west. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you esp. Taylor. Memory eternal...

Dear Christine and Family, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was so shocked when l heard the news. Dear Dupont family
I met Lori a few times when I visited my parents years ago in Amherstburg. Although I never got to really know her, I knew in a brief moment just by her smile that she was a kind and special person. Mom often spoke of Lori and how wonderful a person and mother she was. I was shocked and grief stricken when I learned of her sudden passing. She touched so many lives if only in brief and subtle ways.
May you find the strength needed to help you deal with this tragedy; my prayers and thoughts are with you in the hopes that time will bring you some form of serenity.
