Published by Legacy Remembers on Aug. 21, 2024.
Lori Ann Gonzales (Moore), aged 61, passed away on August 12, 2024, in Jacksonville, FL. Born on January 4, 1963, Lori's life was a testament to resilience, the enduring power of love, and the strength she found in her faith in God.

Lori's unwavering love for her family and her vibrant spirit were the defining features of her life. She found comfort and guidance in her relationship with God. As we remember Lori, we may find solace in the words of Romans 8:38-39: "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." This powerful verse speaks to the limitless forgiveness of God and the promise of eternal life for all who believe.

Lori's warmth and devotion to her family were the cornerstones of her life. She faced life with determination, always striving to be better. Her journey was one of perseverance and hope, touching the lives of those around her in profound ways.

Lori is survived by her loving family, including her daughter, Summer Bozeman (Steven), and her grandchildren, Emaleia, Abalene, Georgia-Grace and Benjamin. She also leaves behind her son, David Rogers; her sister, Tracey Hollingworth (Dean); her mother, Myrna Cannon; and numerous nieces and nephews. Lori's aunt, Martha Cubero, and uncle, Ted Watts (Laura), also mourn her passing. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Kelli Moore and Kelly Trantham, and her father, Willis (Dubb) Cannon.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 7th at 1 pm at Lifeline Church, located at 135 Jackson Ave S., Jacksonville, FL 32220. This gathering will honor Lori's memory, celebrating her life and the love she shared with her family and friends. It will be a time to share stories, remember her resilience, and celebrate the bonds that endure beyond life's trials.

Lori's life reminds us of the power of perseverance, the importance of family, and the enduring nature of hope. Her story encourages us to approach others with compassion, understanding that everyone's journey is unique. May her memory be a reminder that God's love, forgiveness, and acceptance can flourish in all circumstances of life, and that His grace is available to all who seek Him.
