Lori A Larson

Lori A. Larson, a resident of Blaine, MN (hometown Michigan, ND), unexpectedly passed away March 20, 2024, at the age of 61. As a wonderful mother, Lori was a steadfast presence always there when needed. Her devotion centered around her daughter, Katie (Ryan) Weber and two beloved grandchildren, (McKenna 16) and (Balin 8), who made up the entirety of her world.

Lori's hands held a magical touch when it came to gardening. The greenest of plants thrived under her care, as if they sensed her nurturing spirit. But her talents extended beyond the garden – Lori was also a wonderful cook and baker. Her creativity in the kitchen knew no bounds. She delighted in inventing new recipes and food creations, each one a delightful surprise for anyone fortunate enough to taste her dishes. Whether tending to her garden or whipping up a meal, Lori's skills were truly remarkable and will be forever missed.

Lori was also an avid sports enthusiast, particularly when it came to college hockey. The memories of watching games together are etched in our hearts. Although this year's viewing experience may be different, Lori spirit will undoubtedly be with us, cheering from the sidelines.

Lori faced a considerable number of medical challenges, yet she refused to allow them to hinder her enjoyment of life. She consistently focused on the bright side of life, finding joy in its simplest moments.

She was proceeded in death by her parents Edith and Alf, her brothers Glenn (Sharon) and Allan, and her niece Casey Schultz.

Besides her daughter, Lori is survived by her three sisters, Lucille (Jerry) Neary, Elaine (Rhonda Buhr) Larson, Susie Schultz and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A Memorial Service to celebrate Lori's life will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at Michigan Lutheran Church at 1pm.
